BEFORE TREATMENT - Initial Exam

This appointment begins with us getting to know you better. We have each patient complete a Patient Registration Form so that we will know who you are and a bit about you - including a brief Medical History.

Our Treatment Coordinator will then give you a tour of our office with introductions to the staff and Dr. Clarke. During the Initial Exam appointment, you will have the opportunity to discuss any specific concerns you may have. As well, Dr. Clarke will perform a visual examination and have a preliminary discussion with you regarding possible treatment options.

You will also be told the approximate cost of treatment. If you are not ready for treatment at that time, you will be put on an Observation schedule and Dr. Clarke will examine you again every 6 to 12 months and monitor your development until such time as treatment is necessary.

The next step toward Treatment will involve the making of Orthodontic Records. A definitive Treatment Plan will be discussed during the Case Presentation appointment.
